Our Mission
Being privileged to live in the heart of Muskoka, Ontario our family has been fortunate to enjoy the rewarding lifestyle of raising livestock.
In 2017 we decided to start Fur and Feathers Muskoka to help others to find the joy and sense of accomplishment in owning or adding to their own hobby farm.
Starting a hobby farm can often be confusing and a bit overwhelming. With a wealth of experience and Melissa’s training as a veterinary technologist, our desire is to not only supply diverse high quality animals but also help you with your concerns and questions.

THE STRAW BOSS
This product is AWSOME for animal bedding, winterizing your garden and compost material. It is significantly more absorbent then raw straw. Dust has been extracted to decrease exposure to mold, salonella and other pathogenic organisms. In addition to being highly absorbent and reducing ammonia, Straws boss reduces the presence of bugs and mice in barns.
FRESH MEAT FROM OUR FARM-SOLD OUT
Grain and Pasture raised, non GMO. Raised outside and stress free. All meat is processed by a government inspected processing facility. Meat is cut and wrapped. We do not sell sides of meat.
Chicken- whole, half and quartered $4.00/lb
Beef - steak, ground beef, roast, stewing beef $4.50/lb
Pork- ham, picnic roast, sausage, ground pork, bacon, pork chops, ham steaks $4.50/lb
Lamb - leg of lamb, chops, shoulder, ground lamb $7.50/lbs
